Gargamel's Holiday Hovel

Gargamel's Holiday Hovel available for rent at reasonable rates.
Facilities include:
Fireplace with supply of wood
Single bed with straw stuffed mattress
Quaint stone floor
One window and skylights
Bathroom does not exist, use the Lake next door
Toilet that's outside( bring your own shovel)
Not suitable for Dictyoptera phobes
Bring your own curtains
Cooking facilities-none, use the BBQ outside.
One entrance/exit .Door can be taken off and replaced when required. Don't believe in hinges.
Cleaned every full moon
Bring you own linen, food, matches, fumigator and rat traps.

I'm thinking of doing another short story involving Gargamel and the Smurfs or even some new characters. I have a few ideas and would be interested in what others would like to see.

The Greatest Show in the Galaxy

After four hours of travelling we finally got to Peterborough, UK. Somewhere I'd not visited before. Thank goodness for Sat Nav!

The cast of Torchwood, Ashes to Ashes and the 1996 Doctor Who Movie were all reunited at the show. First time ever in the UK!
John Barrowman 'Captain Jack Harkness', Gareth David-Lloyd 'Ianto Jones', Naoko Mori 'Toshiko Sato', Kai Owen ' Rhys Williams' and Eve Myles 'Gwen Cooper' who treated us to a show of her running skills....she is FAST!

Seven members of Star Trek 'Voyager' cast were present including Jeni Ryan 'Seven of Nine' and this was her firs signing event in the UK. Other stars were Robert Beltran 'Chakotay', Robert Picardo 'Holographic Doctor', Tim Russ 'Tuvok', Garret Wang 'Harry kim', Ethan Philips 'Neelix' and Manu Intiraymi 'Icheb'.

Deep Space Nine was also at the show. Colm Meaney 'Chief O'Brien', Nana Visitor 'Commander Kira Nerys and Rene Auberjonois.

Also present were stars from Ashes to Ashes including Philip Glenister 'Gene Hunt' and Keeley Hawes 'Alex Drake'.

The Doctor Who Film (1996) included Paul McGann, Eric Roberts, Yee Jee Tso, Eliza Roberts and of course Sylvester McCoy.

And last but not least..Stars from Doctor Who such as Freema Agyeman, Simon Fisher-Becker, Nicola Bryant, Peter Purves, Janet Fielding, Noel Clarke, Colin Baker and Frazer Hines who gave a Dalek a Chinese burn!
