My Little Orange Cat

On those dark lonely nights when the hovel seems as cold as ice..

Would you care for me, as I care for my cat?
Oh, I know he is treacherous and his thoughts go no
higher than Smurfs and milk and a place by the fire.

We are both getting old and fat
But when I sit here alone on the floor and the darkness
encroaches my soul all around

I stroke his fur, I like to know that he is there and
to hear him purr.
It fills my heart with gladness.

Inside the Yurtby *UncleGargy

We stayed in a Yurt for a couple of nights. This is a genuine Mongolian Yurt imported into the UK.

Thick woollen felt roof and walls, keep any heat in better than any other Yurt.

There are only three of them and this is the largest (sleeps up to 6 people).

Can be used all year round, but comes into its own in autumn and winter when the wood burner becomes your best friend.

Only took half an hour to warm up. Managed to keep it stoked up for the second night. Of course the first morning it had gone out so I had to do an impression of a catterpillar in my sleeping bag whilst I tried to stay warm and light the fire at the same time
